Ms. Orly Lynn is a Global Diversity and Inclusion Practitioner, Founder and CEO of Diversity Unfiltered. She offers advisory and strategic services, helping organizations develop the cultural competencies needed to cultivate an inclusive and diverse workforce. Orly has robust knowledge and institutional awareness of the challenges and opportunities organizations encounter. She advises and educates leaders and team members on the value of inclusive leadership, embedding best in class practices and strategies to help dismantle diversity. She also provides specified developmental approach to coaching women, of all ages, seeking guidance, job readiness opportunities and direction for those ready to pivot in their careers.
Prior to starting Diversity Unfiltered: A Consulting Company, Orly joined HSBC as the US Head of Diversity & Inclusion. She led the bank’s US regional Diversity and Inclusion initiative, designed to attract, develop and retain diverse top talent. Orly designed and implemented the US strategy for the organization and spearheaded the firm’s diversity and inclusion development programs. In partnership with talent acquisition, she ensured inclusive and diverse strategies for talent recruitment and retention. She oversaw all D&I sponsorships with a strategic eye for driving inclusive collaborative partnerships. Orly also spearheaded HSBC’s Eleven Employee Recourse Groups (ERGs), with a concentration on developing each network into business-driven employee groups. Prior to joining HSBC, Orly served as Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager at Credit Suisse, promoting the firm’s Global Diversity and Inclusion strategy by leading and managing the Employee Resource Groups. She also overhauled and executed a structured ERG framework, implemented best practices, and redesigned the diversity and ERG web-based communities, which included a metrics driven approach to gathering data. She spearheaded the planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the Americas region while overseeing all external sponsorships and diversity training initiatives.
Orly Lynn is an award-winning diversity practitioner, a thought leader promoting change, equity, and inclusion. She can be found championing D&I efforts as a speaker, moderator, panelist and podcast guest. Orly holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hunter College, where she majored in Sociology, and is a Master’s Degree candidate at Harvard University, majoring in Management and Organizational Behavior.
