Diversity & Inclusion Manager — Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

Maryanne Ravenel is the Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where she serves as the primary advisor to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion and provides strategic advice and counsel to senior management on diversity-related issues. At Blue Cross, she manages 8 employee resource groups that focus on shared affinities and life experiences.

Prior to joining Blue Cross, she was a member of the Global Diversity and Inclusion team at Moody’s Corporation in New York. There she focused on diversity and inclusion education strategy and women’s development programs globally, including 25+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) chapters in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA.

In addition, Maryanne worked on the corporate communications team for Time Warner Cable in New York focused on corporate social responsibility and employee volunteerism.

Maryanne received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in corporate communications from Baruch College in New York. More recently, she received her Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
