Legal Fish Bowl Opens in Kendall Square

On April 20, Legal Sea Foods will open Legal Fish Bowl in Cambridge’s Kendall Square. A new fast-casual concept by the iconic Boston-based restaurant brand, Legal Fish Bowl will open within Legal Sea Foods’ existing Kendall Square location located on Main Street.

Legal Fish Bowl offers six signature bowls, as well as an option to create your own. Bowls are fresh, seasonal and healthy and include pescatarian and vegetarian options in addition to a chicken version. The Tunanimous Choice is packed with sesame ginger tuna poke, jasmine rice, seaweed salad, charred broccoli, kimchi, radishes and nori furikake with a sesame ginger vinaigrette and Korean red chili sauce ($13.95) while the Salmon Poke-Manna from Heaven has sesame ginger salmon poke, brown rice, avocado, marinated cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, rainbow carrots, scallions as well as spiced seeds and nuts with a sesame ginger vinaigrette and Korean red chili sauce ($13.95). Noodle It Over Shrimp marries marinated organic shrimp with lo mein noodles, Portobello mushrooms, rainbow carrots, spicy roasted sweet potatoes, cucumbers, scallions, basil, cilantro and mint with tahini dressing ($13.95) and the Pick Your Hoison ($13.95) brings a bowl with hoisin glazed salmon, grilled lemon kale, charred broccoli, zucchini noodles, sunflower and sesame seeds, red pepper flakes and avocado with a cider Dijon dressing ($13.95). The chicken option is Chicky Chicky Bang Bang ($11.95) with grilled chicken breast, mixed field greens, roasted cauliflower and shallots, Portobello mushrooms, chickpea salad, basil, tomatoes, parmesan croutons and Romano cheese with white balsamic dressing and the vegetarian bowl, In(Man) the Raw ($8.95), is kale, zucchini noodles, rainbow carrots, cucumbers, radishes, cherry tomatoes and shaved cauliflower as well as spiced seeds and nuts with oil and vinegar. The “Create Your Own” option (starting at $7.95) gives you five base choices, 11 sides, seven optional proteins and seven dressings. In addition, there are three housemade beverages available.
