Jonathan Choe is a correspondent and managing editor for Diya TV, America’s only South Asian network covering the intersection of sports, politics, religion, race, and culture. Choe is based in Boston and has more than two decades of experience in television news behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
Before Diya TV, he helped launch NBC 10 Boston, where he spent three years as a general assignment reporter. He is the first and only Korean American male tv reporter to work on air in the Boston market. He’s also reported in Minneapolis and Chicago.
Choe is married and has two young children. In his spare time, he actively mentors young journalists and is always encouraging more minorities to enter the business. He’s also a volunteer baseball, basketball, and track coach.
