Mike Sargent is a filmmaker, journalist, and cultural critic. Mike is also Co-President of Black Film Critics Circle (BFCC) a founding member of The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) and Chief film critic for WBAI RADIO. He has appeared on Al Jazeera, WPIX, FOX Business News, and the PBS NewsHour. He co-hosts the Webby Award-winning social commentary podcast Brown and Black and NBC News Entertainment Journalist and Critic, Jack Rico.
