Shanna B. Tiayon, PhD also known as “The Wellbeing Dr.”, is a Writer, Speaker and Trainer working in the area of wellbeing. She has a PhD in Sociology with a specialization in Social Psychology. Shanna was a National Science Foundation and Ford Foundation Fellow. While in academia, her research focused on physical and mental health inequality.

Additionally, Shanna has over 14 years of experience in senior management and management advisory roles, primarily in the field of Human Resources. Shanna has worked in the public and private sector, in domestic and international positions. Notably, she’s lived and worked in Cameroon, Chad, Rwanda and Uganda and is fluent in French.

She uses her academic skill set and corporate experience to assist professionals with managing their personal wellbeing as an integral part of their career strategy and helping organizations to develop systems, training programs and policies that foster employee wellbeing.
