On Tuesday, July 19th, 2016, Beat Brasserie, located in Cambridge’s Harvard Square, hosts a special evening dedicated to Miles Davis’ landmark album, Bitches Brew. From 8:00PM to 12:00AM two of Boston’s most expressive horn players, Phil Grenadier and George Garzone will be joined on stage by visionary guitarist Tim Miller and jazz pianist Steve Hunt for a free and electric interpretation of the revolutionary record. All evening long Beat’s kitchen will serve up one of Davis’ favorite dishes, “South Side Chicago Chili Mack.”

While jazz tunes fill the eclectic Harvard Square brasserie guests can enjoy a full meal with selections such as Baja-Style Seafood Ceviche with shrimp, lobster and whitefish, finished with lime and tomato ($14), Grilled Steak Life Bowl with steamed market veggies, multigrain pilaf, soy ginger dressing ($27) and Roasted Cape Cod Diver Scallops with creamy polenta, sunflower romesco and broccoli rabe ($28). Guests can also pair their meal with a glass of vino from Beat’s wide selection of artisanal wines on tap, or opt for one of the all new punch bowls. Perfect for sharing, guests can choose between the Cactus Flower Bowl made with Milagro tequila, ginger, lemon, and agave, and the Rite of Spring Bowl made with Letherbee gin, grapefruit & lavender, both served for groups of four ($45), six ($65), and eight ($85).
