Kellogg Named Finalist for edX Prize

John Kellogg, Berklee Online music business instructor, has been named a finalist for the second annual edX Prize for Exceptional Contributions in Online Teaching and Learning. Kellogg was nominated for his massive open online course (MOOC) Introduction to the Music Business.

 

Kellogg, former assistant chair of Berklee’s Music Business/Management Department, is one of 10 finalists chosen from edX’s global consortium of member institutions. The winner will be announced at the annual edX Global Forum, held December 5–6 at the University of British Columbia in Whistler, British Columbia.

 

The edX Prize “celebrates the contributions and innovations of MOOC teachers in the edX community and amplifies the powerful role that MOOCs play” in distance education today.
