On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, Beat Brasserie, located in Cambridge’s Harvard Square, presents a musical tribute to the late legend Prince. Having a multitude of musical talents, Prince inspired a generation of music and to honor his impactful career, NYC’s Erica Telisnor and a special group of emerging musicians and vocalists will convene to recreate a long list of Prince tunes from 8:00PM – 12:00AM. The evening will feature Beat’s savory food and libations, and moving live performances adhering to Prince’s style and substantial influence on music today.  As Prince was most known for his extravagant performances on stage as an exuberant singer and multi-instrumentalist, this night of performances is sure to appeal to numerous styles such as funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelic and pop.

While enjoying the legendary music, Beat Brasserie will be serving house favorites. Start the night with hors d’oeuvres such as Sweet Chili Baby Back Ribs ($14.50) and Crispy Tuna Spring Rolls ($12.50), or enjoy a full dinner with selections such as the Roast Shrimp Life Bowl with Steamed Artisanal Vegetables, Multigrain Pilaf, Tamari Almonds and Soy-Ginger Dressing ($24.50).

Pair the meal with one of the 36 artisanal American wines on tap from the Beat’s state-of-the-art tap system including exclusive selections such as the Stephen Ross, Chardonnay (2013) or the Anne Amie Winery “Muller-Thurgau” (2013).  Prices vary on wine selections on tap. Looking to kick it up a notch? Try Beat’s newest shared format Rite of Spring Bowl made with Letherbee Gin, Grapefruit & Lavender, perfect for groups of four ($45), six ($65), and eight ($85).
