An evening of Haitian roots and grooves hosted by Sanders Boston and featuring Lakou Mizik, Zepeng and Dj H Republik!

Described as Haiti’s “Buena Vista Social Club” by The New York Times, Lakou Mizik’s unique blend of traditional vodou music with modern pop/soul styles and high energy shows have earned them fans around the world. Straight off shows at New Orleans Jazz Fest and Edmonton Folk Festival – Lakou Mizik is excited to be back in Boston for this celebration of Haitian Culture and Music!

Zepeng is a Haitian-American roots music group featuring electric guitars, bass, African drums, keyboards and vocals. Known for an eclectic style that incorporates Haitian racine sounds, compas dance music, and troubadour songs, with hip-hop and jazz inflections, Zepeng has become a darling of the Boston arts community. The band is led by Zedd Nestor and Romanes Paul, and features Yves Eliscar, Sergo Decius, and Jonathan Kavale.
