Equinox has opened its fifth Boston area location. Equinox Seaport combines the unparalleled service Equinox offers at each of its 90 global locations with unique Boston charm and character.
Embodying the iconic nautical atmosphere of the transformed Boston Harbor, Equinox Seaport, otherwise known as “Port House,” has all of the elements that make it the ultimate destination for strengthening body, mind and community.
Reminiscent of port and industrial architecture, the club utilizes crisp nautical references such as fitted tile patterns and signal flags juxtaposed against industrial black granite thresholds, burnt ebony Cyprus, exposed steel, black oak and polished floors. Sweeping 270-degree views connect members to Rowes Wharf, the surrounding developments and Boston Harbor. The space also offers a signature members lounge, providing a true community hub in an already vibrant area.
Equinox has deep roots in Boston, opening its first location on Dartmouth St. in 2007. The brand added locations at Franklin St. and Chestnut Hill in 2009 and 2011, respectively, along with Equinox Sports Club Boston in 2014.
Equinox Seaport features innovative group fitness programming, top-tier personal training, Pilates, cycling, lounges, Kiehl’s products, Eucalyptus towels and more. There are four dedicated fitness studios that will feature expert Equinox instructors leading a variety of innovative and diverse Equinox classes, including THE CUT: Jump Rope, a supercharged jump-rope class that keeps you on your toes for a double blast of cardio and conditioning.
Members will also find The Spa at Equinox, featuring two treatment rooms with a selection of regenerative services; The Shop, which offers a selection of chic performance apparel from brands like Caraa, Michi, and Spiritual Gangster; as well as a Juice Press shop featuring organic, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, salads, soups and vegan snacks
