Dr. Ginny Baro is a certified international executive coach, speaker, and #1 bestselling author of Fearless Women at Work. Today, she serves as the CEO and founder of ExecutiveBound™ and Fearless Women @Work™. She is the creator of the innovative and proven method C.A.R.E.S. Leadership Success System™ and the groundbreaking virtual coaching program, the Fearless Leadership Mastermind™.
Ginny specializes in helping executives develop leaders, maximize performance, and increase profits. One of her passions is to populate the world with great leaders. To that end, she partners with organizations to develop inclusive leaders at all levels and helps them take their leadership potential to the next level. She also collaborates with talented individuals who are navigating a corporate hierarchy or transitioning into a new phase of their professional careers.
Ginny has over 26 years of experience working in competitive corporate environments in financial services and technology in the New York City area. She is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and facilitator for teams and leaders. She has facilitated leadership training and coaching programs successfully for global companies with over 65,000 employees and delivered keynotes impacting international audiences larger than 7,000 people. Ginny began her leadership career in the 1990s as a Systems Manager, Diversified Group Division, for Prudential, and from 1998 through 2000 served as Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager, Sales & Marketing Technology Division, at Alliance Capital (now Alliance Bernstein). From 2000 through 2016, she served under multiple Director and senior-level roles for Lord, Abbett & Co., a privately-held asset management firm, across the Technology and Distribution divisions.
Dr. Baro holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Information Systems and an M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers College and an M.B.A. in Management from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management. She earned a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) designation from Leadership that Works, accredited by the International Coach Federation. Ginny’s Ph.D. dissertation and related published body of work focused on M&As and was titled “The influence of organizational and Information systems factors on the effectiveness of post-merger technology integration.”
Ginny was born and raised in the Dominican Republic before she moved to the U.S. at age fourteen. She’s fluent in Spanish and shares her love of baseball and basketball with her 12-year-old son. For more information, visit www.executivebound.com
