Zinnia Maldonado is a recent graduate of Penn State University, a Philadelphia native, and a winner of the Roy W. Howard National Collegiate Reporting Competition. Zinnia was previously a reporter and anchor for Penn State’s Emmy Award-winning Center County Report. She has also hosted specials for WPSU, a PBS/NPR Member Station serving central Pennsylvania. Her love for storytelling and writing has driven her career choice as a reporter. Outside of work, Zinnia loves to travel internationally, and has explored Barcelona, Tokyo, Osaka, Toronto and London.
