Join The Museum of African American History for an extraordinary multicultural event featuring three choirs: the Zamir Chorale of Boston, America’s foremost Jewish choral ensemble; VOICES 21C, a diverse choir dedicated to positive interactions, social justice, and global understanding; and the Boston Community Gospel Choir, led by Brother Dennis Slaughter. For the first time, these three chorale groups will join together to perform Jewish, Muslim and Christian music demonstrating shared values that transcend culture and connect us all. By using music to explore the themes of freedom, we seek to create a culture of understanding, faith, and hope.
This program is a partnership between the Museum of African American History and Vilna Shul.
Voices of Freedom, a Concert at Vilna Shul, takes place Sunday, April 9, at Vilna Shul starting at 4 PM. Click HERE for more information.
