South End Open Studios Turns 30

On Saturday, September 24th & Sunday, September 25th, 2016 United South End Artists, Inc. will present the 30th annual South End Open Studios from 11:00AM – 6:00PM.

Since 1986, South End Open Studios has provided a once-a-year, back-stage pass that invites the general public to explore and enjoy the creative environment of Boston’s largest and most exciting community of working artists.

At dozens of locations throughout the South End neighborhood and SoWa District, over 200 artists will showcase their work, with local galleries displaying work by national and international artists.

This one-of-a-kind event affords a unique opportunity to see an entire spectrum of artistic styles and expressions, to purchase art at the source, and to get to know Boston’s most entrenched and celebrated arts community.

Free printed guides with maps are available at South End Open Studios information tables, locations include Boston Center for the Arts, 551 Tremont Street and the sidewalk area of 560 Harrison Avenue, and free shuttle service will be available to transport visitors to studios and galleries.
