Sabrina Kizzie, MPA

Author, Marketing Consultant, and Social Media Instructor — Baruch College

A respected marketing and social media consultant, Sabrina Kizzie was selected by the Bronx Times as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in 2014 and selected among the 25 Top People on Twitter to Follow in September 2014 by Forbes Magazine noted social media power influencer, John Paul Aguiar.  The Riverside Club of NANBPWC, Inc. has named Sabrina Kizzie “2016 Women of The Year.”

A strong leader committed to helping individuals enrich their lives through education, Sabrina also is a life-long learner who currently is pursuing a Ph.D. in business management-marketing from Capella University.  Sabrina was named the 2017 NAUW National Doctoral Fellow by the National Association of University Women.

Since 2013, Sabrina has been a popular adjunct professor at the City University of New York’s Baruch College of Continuing and Professional Studies, and the prestigious Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute Zicklin School of Business, where she teaches several interesting courses including, social media marketing, interactive marketing, media plan development and marketing communications. Sabrina was named the 2016 Outstanding Instructor of the Year for her outstanding performance in the subjects of Social Media and Marketing at Baruch College.

Among her growing list of accomplishments, Sabrina is a nationally recognized consultant, marketing expert, author and motivational speaker. She frequently is invited to guest speak at industry conferences. She recently spoke at Google NYC and the University of Maine about Digital & Diversity.

Sabrina has penetrated the internet with the creation of the SMG Blog (www.socialmediaglamour.com) which addresses social media, marketing, and branding.  

Sabrina’s professional background includes over 15 years of marketing experience. She has successfully partnered with several well-known organizations to create powerful events to educate her audience.  In 2010, Sabrina held her first women’s conference in New York City. She partnered with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization to donate proceeds from her event’s silent auction to benefit cancer research. In addition, Sabrina’s networking and Charity Silent Auction Event in the Hamptons benefited Habitat for Humanity.   

Sabrina has been featured in numerous publications including Crain’s New York Business, The Mann Report, and Real Estate Executive Magazine. She has been quoted and cited in @rtbuzzofficial. com as one of the experts: 16 Experts Reveal: How to Get Twitter Followers (2016).  She was featured in a blackenterprise.com article titled, “3 Quick-fire Networking Tips from Author & Marketer – Sabrina Kizzie.

Sabrina participated in the Entrepreneur Podcast Network and was featured in four episodes – “Choosing the Best Social Media Platform for your Business, Best Digital Marketing Tactics for Travel Brands, Best Practices for Restaurants on Instagram and Preparing for Small Business Week.

Apart from her teaching commitment and speaking engagements, Sabrina is actively involved in community service.  In 2012, she received a Community Service Award from the NCNW, Inc., Queens County. She also is the recipient of a Congressional Award from Congressman Gregory Meeks.

Sabrina received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Long Island University – Post Campus
