Rubina Azizdin, M.S.  
Director of STEM-UP Network – Harrisburg University

Rubina has over a decade of experience in counseling, teaching and community engagement. She presently serves as the Director of STEM-UP Network for Harrisburg University, which is a program that helps advance women in their fields of STEM.  She is an avid advocate of diversity and all initiatives that involve empowering women. She is the founder of  R.E.A.L. Women’s Alliance Networking Group. Rubina is also involved in the Central PA Community as well as national organizations. She serves on the board of directors for the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg, is a member of American Business Women’s Association- Camelot Chapter, also is a member of WeCAN, West Shore Young Professionals, Harrisburg Young Professionals, Junior Achievement of South-Central Pa and PA Association of Colleges and Employers. She was awarded the West Shore Chamber’s Luminary Shining Star Award, The Ella Frazier Award and Women of Excellence Award though the YWCA. She  also was a recipient of the Global Torch Award through the YWCA, and was just recently named a Women of Influence and also will be recipient of the Forty under 40 award through the Central Penn Business Journal. Her work and love for the community has been featured in Susquehanna Style Magazine and the Central Penn Business Journal Women in Leadership Publication as well. She is also working on her doctoral degree in leadership and management, has 3 lovely children and has been married for 14 years to her amazing husband Arfaat.
