Vice President of Business Transformation and Chief Digital Officer, Americas Region — Mercedes-Benz Financial Services 

Rodolfo Dominguez is the Vice President of Business Transformation and Chief Digital Officer of the Americas region for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC. In this role, he leads a team of more than ninety employees and is responsible for accelerating the company’s vision of providing a first-class digital experience for dealers and customers by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, optimizing processes, and supporting the adoption of emerging technologies. He is also a member of the Daimler Financial Services Americas leadership committee.

Prior to his current position, Dominguez worked as the Vice President of Enterprise Portfolio Management, where he was responsible for overseeing the prioritization and execution of strategic enterprise-wide initiatives. Under his leadership, the company completed a large-scale, transformational program, which delivered a technology solution to replace the company’s core contract management systems and laid the foundation for future digital expansion.

Dominguez has held several roles of increasing responsibility throughout his career, leading teams in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. These included: Vice President, Global Products Processes, and Systems; President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada; as well as Business Center Director in Canada. Before joining the company in 1996, Dominguez worked for Hussmann Refrigeration and KPMG in Mexico.

Dominguez earned a master’s degree in Information Technologies and Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. His community and D&I efforts include serving as the Michigan Chapter President of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, volunteering with Junior Achievement in Detroit, and functioning as the executive sponsor for the company’s Diversity Council, among others.

In 2016, Rodolfo Dominguez was named an “Automotive News All-Star” in the Finance & Insurance category and was selected for the “HITEC 100” list by the Hispanic IT Executive Council, which recognizes the top 100 most influential and notable Hispanic Professionals in the information technology industry.
