Jean Bredeche

Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder – Quantopian 

Jean Bredeche is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Quantopian, a crowd-sourced quantitative investment firm.

Quantopian lets anyone with an interest in coding and a passion for finance get paid, if their algorithm is chosen, to be included in its investment management business. In his role, Bredeche manages the teams that are responsible for security, infrastructure and site reliability, trading technology, and platform functionality.

Prior to Quantopian, Bredeche worked for Kapost, HubSpot, and Tamale Software in senior engineering roles. He studied computer science at Dartmouth College and lives in the Greater Boston Area with his wife and kids.
