Frank Holland
Anchor/Reporter – NBC Boston and necn
Frank Holland is an award winning anchor/reporter for NBC Boston and necn with more than fifteen years of experience in major news markets including Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Boston.
He joins the necn station from WCVB in Boston, where he spent two years as an anchor/reporter covering breaking news, national stories, and enterprising original series, including “Black in Boston.”
Prior to moving to Boston, Frank spent three years as an anchor/reporter at WGN-TV in Chicago, where he covered the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, the Republican and Democratic national conventions, as well as the National College Football Championship.
Before that, he spent two years as an anchor/reporter at NBC Affiliate WDIV in Detroit, three years at News 12 in New York, and several years in television news in both the Virgin Islands and Alaska.
Frank holds a Bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., which commits itself to serving African-American communities in need. He also volunteers with the Urban League, the YMCA and Habitat for Humanity.
Continually challenging himself to learn and grow, Frank is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration at Bentley University, while hoping to inspire others to pursue a lifetime of learning.
