Fishbone at The Sinclair

Often imitated, never duplicated.

If there is one band that can proudly say they live up to that cliché, it’s Fishbone.

For more than 25 years, Fishbone has been, per its Facebook page, “trailblazing their way through the history of American Ska, Funk, Punk, Rock Fusion and (so-called) Black Rock since starting their professional career in Los Angeles’ burgeoning, Alternative Rock music scene of the mid-1980s”.

There have been a lot of changes to the band over the years, but the current member line-up, including original members Angelo Moore, Walt Kibby, Fish Fisher, John Bigham, Rocky George, Jay Armant, and Norwood Fisher, will be coming to The Sinclair on March 22 to perform live.

To get ready for the event, or in case you have never heard of Fishbone before (shame on you), check out the cool documentary Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone directed by Lev Anderson and Chris Metzler.
