Donna Bonaparte
Vice President of Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer – Babson College
Donna Bonaparte is the Vice President of Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer at Babson College. In her role she is responsible for defining the strategic workforce vision, planning, and leadership of workforce programs. She is in charge of leading organizational change, partnering with leadership to create and implementing programs aligned with the organization’s Entrepreneurial Thought and Action strategic goals. She develops and directs activities designed to meet organizational development needs and training of the college constituency, create and direct a comprehensive and total rewards strategy, benefits administration, compensation, diversity, talent acquisition and other workforce activities.
Prior to joining Babson College, Donna was the Senior Director of Human Resources for Cambridge Health Alliance, an award-winning integrated healthcare system comprised of three hospitals and more than twenty primary care sites in the Cambridge, Somerville, and Metro North region. In this role, Donna was responsible for the direction of talent acquisition, total rewards, compensation, benefits, workforce development, diversity, and the creation of an internal temporary staffing agency.
During the past twenty-five years as a senior Human Resources Leader, she has gained expertise in all aspects of workforce management. She was featured in the January 2012 Boston Sunday Globe Career Section in the article “Working for the Future: Education and Specialized Knowledge.” As a recognized diversity leader Donna has been a presenter at many national conferences, including the National Academy of Health and was featured as one of “Three Top National Diversity Executives” in Profiles in Diversity magazine. As a healthcare HR leader Donna received the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Association Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award. Prior to joining Cambridge Health Alliance Donna held senior human resources and operational positions in the public and private sector.
