Description:

After a mutual parting from Aetna in 1985 (as the senior female officer in a $33 Billion real estate division), I started The Hopgood Group, LLC. In 1996 John Hancock, as a shareholder, nominated me to the board of an NYSE company based in Lubbock, TX of which I became Chair/CEO. And I didn’t stop there.

As a result of shareholder nominations, I became CEO of Houlihan’s Restaurant Group and went on the boards of public companies Del Global Technologies, Inc., Acadia Realty Trust, and many more.

In this session, we’re going to discuss the tools you need to be considered as a board member.
