The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston will be hosting Sunset Cinema on Thursday, August 17th, full of outdoor summer art making, music, food, drink, and film event. Sunset Cinema has been designed to activate the campus of the MFA and highlight their stellar year-round film programming.
Cool Hand Luke is part of the “Feed Your Head: Films from 1967” film series curated to tie into the MFA’s “Summer of Love” exhibition.
So bring a low lawn chair or blanket and picnic, or pick up a sandwich or salad from the concession stands outside. No outside alcohol allowed; beer and wine will be available for purchase. Lawn games, tie-dye, and music by DJ John Funk of Soulelujah will start at 6 p.m. The film starts at 8 p.m. For more information, click here.
