Richard Barber was born and raised in Chicago, IL to two immigrants from Ghana, Tim & Betty Barber where he is the youngest of three. Spending his young adult life in Illinois attending Lake Forest Academy, he was a standout student-athlete and Captain of the Varsity Football team. Because of his success in the classroom and on the field, Rich was recruited to play collegiate Division 1 football at one of New England’s prestigious universities, The College of the Holy Cross.

At Holy Cross, Rich was not only an achieving student in the classroom but also left his mark in a variety of different ways. Some of the roles he held on campus outside of being a strong student and intercollegiate athletics were leadership and volunteering through the ALANA Mentorship program, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the 360 Leadership Academy program.

After graduating from Holy Cross in May of 2016, Rich has worked his way from Sales Associate to Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual. Leading all rookies and top 20 for all experienced representatives in weekly auto, home, and life insurance production. Honing the sales skills he’s learned from his career to date, Rich recently accepted the opportunity to join the Branded Medicine sales team as the Boston area Pharmaceutical Representative at Endo Pharmaceuticals. Rich has been able to achieve success through his hard work and constant dedication to the task at hand.
