New to Hyundai’s Communication Team: Social Media and Influencer Engagement Manager Victoria Walden

The communications team at Hyundai Motor America has added Victoria Walden as manager of Social Media and Influencer Engagement. Victoria is responsible for leading Hyundai Motor America’s public relations efforts in influencer activations and social media, along with other traditional public relations activities for Hyundai products and company initiatives. Victoria reports to Michael Stewart, senior group manager of Corporate and Marketing Public Relations.

Victoria Walden has more than 10 years of social media and public relations experience at agencies, corporations and at one point, her own consulting company. Most recently, Victoria was Head of Social Media at SnackNation where she developed a social strategy that resulted in more than 10 times the followers and engagements with key audience segments. She also successfully planned and managed influencer programs for e-commerce launches and managed all social channels including monitoring, publishing and content development. Victoria has a passion for cars and prior to her time at SnackNation, was the manager of Social Media for the professional racing driver, Tanner Foust.

“With ever-changing consumer preferences and media habits, we understand social media is an important component of staying ahead of our competition,” said Stewart. “We are making it a priority to expand our digital media activities and with Victoria’s significant social media background, she is the perfect fit to lead this effort.”

Victoria Walden graduated from George Mason University’s School of Management with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
