Kenneth Cooke
Vice President in the Finance Division of Goldman Sachs

Kenneth is a Vice President in the Finance Division of Goldman Sachs, in New York, NY. He is the leader of the Global Derivative Disclosures Team, which is responsible for reporting OTC & Listed derivative values for the SEC 10Q/K, Federal Reserve and other regulatory filings. Kenneth previously worked with Genworth Financial Inc. as the Business Controllership Risk Leader, focusing on the Long-Term Care Insurance division.
Kenneth was the 25th Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (“NABA”). Kenneth has been a member of NABA for 24 years and hails from the Richmond, VA Chapter. He also is a current member of the Virginia Tech Accounting & Advisory Board, where he serves on the curriculum committee focusing on ensuring the schools accounting program remains as one of the top curricula amongst universities.
Kenneth’s journey of service and leadership has led him to serve on numerous organizations boards and strategic committees. He states he has benefited directly from the NABA motto, “Lifting As We Climb” and sees it as his responsibility to ensure that he contributes to building leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance profession.
Mr. Cooke’s educational background includes an undergraduate major in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (“Virginia Tech”). After completing his undergraduate studies, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently passed the CPA examination.
