Josefina Bonilla

Josefina Bonilla is the CEO and Founder of Color Media Group, Inc. – a multi-prong, multicultural communications agency based in Boston, Massachusetts. Josefina is responsible for driving business, developing new business channels, establishing strategic partnerships, cultivating government and community relations, and motivating her team to consistently deliver on business objectives and ROI. Josefina’s role requires her to oversee the launching and management of Color Media Group, Inc.’s (CMG) portfolio of products including signature events such as the Men of Color Leadership Conference, the Women of Color Leadership and Empowerment Conference, and the All-Inclusive Awards as well as CMG’s flagship publication, Color Magazine. Josefina leads CMG’s marketing campaigns and works with advertising and public relations agencies to create market penetration plans and metrics for the Hispanic and multicultural markets.

Before leading Color Media Group, Inc., Josefina was the AVP of Business Development and Editor-in-Chief of EntreAmigos Magazine at Hispanic NewsPress. Josefina was responsible for driving content and had full accountability of profit and loss.

Josefina has also worked on the other side of the media spectrum as a Public Relations Director for Wentworth Institute of Technology. In this role, Josefina’s responsibilities included creating and implementing the institute’s public relations campaign as well as managing external communications and relationships.

Josefina is committed to continually growing and learning. In addition to her board participation for Eastern Bank and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she is on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and the Board of Overseers for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
